Get ready to explore the world of virtual production through the lens of the Virtual Production Studio Network (VPSN)!
Our journey began with careful planning and trainer preparation in 2023, leading to a series of workshops designed to empower teachers and educators, enabling them to inspire future talent in the realm of virtual production.
In our planning, we offered the opportunity to students from our four partner universities, inviting them to join us and get hands-on experience with virtual production on a set.
Their mission: Play, Experiment, and Create! Their task was to play pivotal roles in crafting a short film using virtual production techniques. From screenwriters to audio capture specialists, we assembled a diverse team of talents ready to collaborate and create.
By the fall of 2023, we had our team of 11 enthusiastic students, eager to dive into the intricacies of virtual production. Beginning with workshop 03, they were given an introduction session, and then proceeded into pre-production, spanning over November 2023 to January 2024.
On January 15, 2024, Workshop 04 kicked off, marking a five-day adventure that would test their skills, resolve, teamwork as well as problem-solving skills. As the studio set came to life, the students found themselves in the thick of it, ready to bring their collective vision to the screen.
Armed with raw talent and determination, they tackled each challenge with poise and precision, from setting the stage to capturing the perfect shot.
